Was La Dolly wearing wigs even back then? It's always fascinating to speculate with celebrities who always wear wigs what the hell is going on underneath them (i.e. Dolly, Cher, etc). I have it on good authority from someone who once worked on a photo session with Tina Turner years ago in Paris that under her wigs her own hair is a grey crewcut!
bitter- I remember. back in the seventies when she was still married to her first husband, an she was "up-and-coming, she had said that none in the town where she lived knew who she was without the wigs, to them, she said: "I was just another housewife."
