The Hole in the Wall - Update...

We painted yesterday and had to stop because of nightfall.  Couldn't paint today as it was A Rainy Night in Georgia...

We'll  be back up on the ladder again tomorrow to finish the  pinnacle, windows and fascia....

BEWARE:
OLD POOFTER
ON
LADDER

(Sequoia grove, Creme Brulee & White)

We saved the original old weathered clap-board to trim out the upstairs.
Is it not just lovely?

Perhaps we'll pickle it, haven't quite decided...

PS: Just can't wait to do the post about the wall sconces I'm making!

    BUT,
Somethings are best left to old poofters!

  5. I painted my parents' garage last summer, and being atop a ladder was much scarier than it used to be. Apparently one's sense of balance can diminish with age. And fatness.

  7. I'll check the Blairsville gloryhole directory, Mistress Maddie.

  8. There is nothing wrong with an old poofta "on" a ladder.
    On the other hand....
An old poofta in laddered stockings.... Well that's a whole other story....
