The warning that Rui emailed us about choosing colors comes to us a wee bit late as we have been slapping color on the walls for a couple days now & the chair rail is up!

I need to do close-ups of the trim moulding as it was the rough-hewn lumber that origally clad the walls when Mark bought the place, I do believe it is black locust wood, an acacia. It is at least one hundred and fifty years old & very hard!

It's the real thing! At least four feet in diameter, and although it is no longer in its' natural condition, it has been restored quite nicely. It will look great on the side of the diner!  When I am ready to photograph it from that perspective you will all understand....

Also it is ever-so-much cooler because Coke is from Georgia....

Cole slaw & hushpuppies have a shelf life....

Tar-tar Sauce is Forever,
