At least my new place has wheels!
Telephone man....So many good memories....
I've always been more about the linemen...
Searchin' in the sun for another overLOAD.
You know it!!
So... a couple of questions and one request. 1/ What is that wonderful graphic from? What is it's source? It looks so wonderfully seventies porn like. 2/ I don't remember that song, 'Telephone Man' being so... annoying. Was it a big hit? And now the request: in light that you have done 'Telephone Man', now do Anita Ward's 'Ring My Bell'. Love you.... kisses, - Uptonking from Wonderland Burlesque
I'll get back with you tomorrow....
Upton- Yes, it is very seventies, the person that posted this removed it as I was looking at it, thank god I had already saved it. I looked again today but no luck, too bad, I would have posted the source.Music was a lot more local back then. The song was very popular then in Cleveland, Ohio as well as other places (probably urban), but it was a shooting star, straight to the top, straight to obscurity.I'll ring your bell for ya soon!xoxox
Don't you hate getting a busy signal? Do they even have busy signals anymore?
My friend Sheila still has a clunker phone & I just got a busy signal the other day, but it has been a long time.
I miss phone booths.
I miss phone booths that don't stink of piss.
True story-Back in 2001 before I had a cell, I daily used the phone booth at W47st. & 8th ave. which ended up being the last phone booth in NYC to be removed. It also was one of the phone booths used to film the movie "Phone Booth"!
