IT reveals the actions and inaction of its inhabitants during the snow-covered weeks before. Assorted garbage and debris of various color and material peppered into glacial mountains of gray-black shiny ice, punctuated with the dog shit of almost any and every breed....
This year they are finding a little more out there:
A body was discovered in Flushing, of an apparent suicide in a car that had been covered with snow for some time...
And now another body was discovered in Astoria, on our street one long block away...
We wonder what else is out there waiting to be revealed....
They actually picked up garbage this morning!! But who knows when they'll ever pick up the recyclables.
