Exploring My New Neighborhood...

I arrived on Thursday a bit road-worn but in good spirits. Initially I was on my own so I went off walking, finding the drugstore, the grocery, restaurants & bars etc. I thought enough to share this photo with you all, If you don't know why try enlarging it and looking at the lamp in the window, after all, it is a major award..!

I do believe that I have already found the perfect job and will know for sure in the next couple of days. I sure hope so because I am having computer issues that make blogging and even googling very frustrating.  If I get the job I will just go out and buy a new computer, one that I really want, then maybe, even probably, I'll start blogging with regularity again.

It is so nice to be back in civilization again, I'm feeling pretty perky!

  1. You're living in Tremont? Welcome home to NE Ohio. Since living in Baltimore, I dream about Cleveland.

    1. No not Tremont, Westpark, I've been taking the rta & getting off different places to explore. I always loved Cleveland except for the winters, so I've been trying to get out when I can.

    1. Indeed!
As fate would have it, three of the bands that I used to follow around back in the seventies & early eighties are having reunions this year, and I'm back in touch with the old gang!

  4. Damn. I was hoping that you would come back to Crackerville. Ohio looks nice...just don't shoot your eye out.

    1. After Georgia I am officially done with the south, I am to old to handle the stupid that percolates through the government & the majority of the populations there. It's true that Ohio is no bastion of liberality but at least reality has a foothold here. Best of luck to you dwelling amongst those morons.

  5. If it's not the right job, at least you know that you have a lot more options in a big city then in that small town lost up there in the hills.

    Best wishes, my dear.

    1. Thanks Anon,
Hopefully I'll be able to bloviate more often now that I am here! And you're right! I thought the same thing about that fence, but I guess they need it as the house is a museum now...
