it has nothing to do with you if you can't grasp it.....

there a three separate & equal branches of our government...

obama chose to side with congress by appealing the judgement, and not the court...
(i personally believe the DADT judgement equitable, as opposed to the DOMA judgement, which looks sketchy at best, (i would have appealed that judgement too.)).

actions speak louder than words...
either the president has revealed his principles, or, he is bowing to principals...
...at least i know where i stand, and conservatively estimating, so do about ten percent of his supporters (if not more)....
... which is the same spot we've been standing in for years, and years, and years...

why vote?

i imagine that i'm having a grilled american cheese on white bread with a bowl of tomato soup at the lunch counter at an aqua coloured diner ....
then i get snapped forward into my senses ...
... and realize that i am not cicely tyson, and i will never taste that tomato soup from the fountain, ever....
