On a Sunday morning, around ten years ago I was wandering downtown on Greenwich Street. Occasionally in New York you may find yourself alone in the streets, very, very rarely during daylight hours, this was one of those times. It was a erie feeling being all alone so close to Ground Zero in both proximity and timing, and as I paused to light up a smoke a figure in black, looking quite like Lou Reed, joined me on the empty street and headed in my direction. As he passed, I realized why he looked just like Lou Reed...
We gave each other the authentic, the almost imperceptible, New York nod, each staying our own course. It is a favorite memory of mine because there are many New York Cities in NYC, but my city was always Lou Reed's New York City.
RIP
Lou Reed

I was hoping you had a Lou post. RIP Mr Reed.
